Medical Students and Debt

Medical students are facing increasingly serious debt problems as the cost of their training rises.

Students who are completing their fifth year of training are saddled with debt to the region of £20,000. Those who are finishing six year courses have run up debt as high as £22,000.

Most students also have personal debt to contend with and over 100 students revealed that they have debt following them around to the sum of £30,000.

Medical students suffer higher debt than other students as they need to study for two or three years longer than those on other courses. It is difficult for them to work part-time due to the large volume of study that is required and they have to front additional expenses such as books, travel to and from hospitals and equipment.

What can be done?

Students who come from lower-income families suffer the most financial hardship. However, those living in Scotland are finding studying much easier as up front tuition fees have been abolished and replaced with a graduate endowment which the student has to repay after leaving university. As a junior doctor can expect a starting salary of £20,000, this is a much more manageable way to handle debt whilst studying as it allows a student piece of mind so as he can keep his attention focused on studying rather than debt.

Similar schemes need to be introduced in England to fund higher education fees. It seems unfair that only students from wealthy families can study without the worry of debt.

Many great minds come from individuals who are less affluent, these students need to be catered for, so as they have the same chances as their wealthier counterparts.

I could say that being a medical students needs a lot of money and you will surely experienced a lot debt. I would like to share some site wherein you could gain some money considering that my sister is using it as well. On this web site http://www.coursework4you.co.uk/sel.htm you can sell your past essays, coursework and dissertation and receive money every time it is sold. For example for 4000 words coursework you will receive 25 pounds for each sale .Not bad considering that you don't have to do anything for that .

I actually did medicine and although I am now reaping the rewards from all my hard work as I am an anesthetist, my debt still seems to appear endless. I therefore thought that I’d try and find how I could try and reduce this debt. I must say I found it comforting to know that there are people out there fighting the cause! Having read this article a while back and then following up the links and doing my own bit of digging, I found that by selling my essays and dissertation, which were seemingly worthless to me, as they were just taking up hard drive space, I could generate an income. Not ridiculous amounts but enough to subsidise the cost of enjoying life.

I have uploaded my work to a few of the sites which offer this service and have found that if you are looking to sell your essay or dissertation, then http://www.feelgd.com/sell_your_dissertation.php seemed to generate me the most income.

Although it does not charge as much as other sites for the content, it generated more sales. Come to think of it I guess as a student I would be more willing to buy an essay, dissertation or thesis if it were reasonably priced!...anyway I just thought that I would share my knowledge on the subject seen as though I had gained some insight from the article, I thought it only fair!
So my tip is: sell your essay, essays, coursework, dissertation, masters or phd. Oh and you get 50% every time it is downloaded...I almost forgot to mention that bit. lol…Keep fighting the cause!
